Springer Aerospace, a Transport Canada approved manufacturing organization, operates out of a well-equipped maintenance facility that enables the delivery of an extensive range of modification and structural repair ability, including welding, avionics, tubular structures, wooden structures, and sheet metal structures.


The experience of Springer Aerospace’s technicians ranges from simple component replacement to the structural repair and replacement of complete belly skins, formers, stringers, and interiors, as well as wing section replacements to the installation of a whole host of special mission equipment and avionics.


Springer Aerospace has the engineering resources, capabilities and experience to design, install, and certify aircraft modifications, upgrades, and conversions. Our production facilities are well equipped with the expertise, tools, and equipment required to materialize complex projects.

37 working days – this is the overall duration of ATR72-202 MSN 353 (a Summit Air aircraft) conversion from passenger to freighter at Springer Aerospace MRO (Canada), all inclusive (from aircraft arrival to aircraft modification approval).

Beechcraft 1900D Cargo Conversion STC

This FAA-approved STC (STC SA00905DE) allows a Beechcraft 1900D aircraft to be converted to a dedicated cargo configured Aircraft. The intent of this supplemental type certificate is to provide an alternate configuration to maximize the use of full usable cargo volume.
